End User Terms and Conditions

1. What are these terms and who do they apply to?

These Terms apply to you ("End User") when you use the Bank Account Data Service ("Service") provided by Monolay Limited. Every time you use the Service, you agree to the Terms in force at that time. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. What is the Service?

The Service is an account information service that enables you to access, view, and/or share information from your payment accounts ("Account Information") with your explicit consent:

  • Directly to you
  • Through a platform to another business (Merchant) that requires your Account Information to provide a service to you

3. How does the Service work?

You access the Service via Monolay’s website or application, providing explicit consent and authenticating with your bank. Monolay accesses your Account Information as instructed. Re-authentication may be required every 90 days.

Monolay does not control your bank’s services and is not liable for issues outside its control. Accessing the Service via Merchant platforms is subject to the Merchant’s terms.

4. Account Information & Usage

Account Information may include your name, account number, sort code, balance, and transaction history. Monolay may use this data for fraud prevention, analytics, product enhancement, and service improvement.

Monolay will never request your Security Details and will not share your data with unauthorised parties. Responsibility for protecting Security Details lies with your Bank.

5. Who is providing the Service?

Monolay Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15475364). Registered Office: Columba House, Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP5 3RE. Contact: support@monolay.co.uk .

Monolay is authorised and regulated by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017.

6. Fees

Monolay currently does not charge for the Service but reserves the right to introduce fees in the future with reasonable notice.

7. Liability

Monolay is not liable for losses caused by Merchant services, third-party actions, or matters beyond reasonable control. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
